Summer Marine Adventure

Departing from Urangan Harbour and just a short boat ride from Urangan Harbour (Hervey Bay) is the Great Sandy Marine Park and the amazing world heritage K'Gari Island (formally Fraser Island). Your experienced local skipper and crew have one sole purpose...

Your tour will take you to the white sands of Pelican Bank which is a popular local haunt in summer for boaties and families. If conditions are good you will get the sand between your toes on the banks with fantastic photo opportunities. Departing Pelican your vessel will cruise south to Big Woody Island and along the way you will be offered the opportunity to have a bit of an adrenaline ride on the Jetski. Arriving at Big Woody we will anchor and launch the kayaks and SUP and take you on a leisurely paddle with the tide along the shores of the island. After lunch we will weigh anchor and head to one of our snorkelling spots to explore and search for some critters. 

The tour generally operates Monday to Sunday from December 2024. 

Private charters are available on a negotiated rate.

FITNESS AND EXPERIENCE

• Great for all levels of fitness however we do conduct an evaluation for the safety of all concerned.
• Suitable for basic swimmers to advanced swimmers..we have buoyancy aids to assist all levels of swim competency
• Suitable for ages 16 to 75.... younger children are most welcome aboard however an adult must be supervising at all times
• NOTE: All tours operated by us are Alcohol free.

Our Vessel - MV Arcadia

We operate a comfortable 12m Cougar Cat with 360 degree walk around lower deck and flybridge. Vessel water access via Swim Stairs or ladder. We also carry all the latest safety equipment which is kept in tip top condition.
